In case you missed the news, Adrift has been nominated for an Agatha Award for Best First Novel! The award will be bestowed upon the winner at Malice Domestic –an annual mystery fan convention in Bethesda, Maryland. Now in its 30th year, I’ll be joining such alums as Guest of Honor Louise Penny, Toastmaster Catriona McPherson, Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Mary Pickard, Amelia Award recipient David Suchet, and many more talented authors and fans.

If you’re there, I hope you’ll come to the Agatha Best First Novel panel on Saturday, April 28th from 10:00 –10:50 a.m.  Moderated by Margaret Maron, New Kids on the Block: Our Agatha Best First Novel Nominees will include me, Valerie Burns, Kellye Garrett, Laura Oles, and Kathy Valenti.
