On Saturday night, I was honored to be named the recipient of two 2015 Royal Palm Literary Awards for my mystery, Adrift.
Each year, the Florida Writers Association recognizes the efforts of both published and unpublished authors in various genres. I received first place in the unpublished mystery category.
I didn’t think my night could get any better. I was wrong.
The Book of the Year award recognizes the highest-scoring full-length unpublished manuscript, regardless of genre. Adrift garnered that honor.
I’m happy to announce even more good news. I am now represented by Helen Breitwieser. Ms. Breitwieser is a literary agent and owner of Cornerstone Literary Agency.
It has been an exciting week–one that would not have been possible without the support and encouragement of many people–from critique partners, contest judges, fellow wordsmiths, to my incredible husband. I am indeed blessed.
